• Conduct yearly performance appraisal of employees to ensure employees’ own development and alignment of company’s and individual objectives. Ensure right split of responsibilities (including back-ups) and monitor results of work.
• Oversee introduction and monitor right KPIs and internal controls to ensure efficiency and safety of processes.
• Provide and ensure high quality service towards Internal Customers.
• Oversee maintaining and updating process documentation and specific accounting procedures.
• Continuously improve and standardize processes to increase efficiency and Customer satisfaction level.
• Coordinate audit processes (group, statutory, tax).
• Coordinate performance of the accounting processes for various entities within APAC, covering:
• General Ledger accounting i.e. provisions, accruals and other journal entries,
• Month End Closing coordination vs. all teams incl. AR,AP & GL, ES
• Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll accounting,
• Group / Management Reporting,
• Tax & Legal Compliance in cooperation with outsourcing partners (covering but not limited to: CIT, statistical reporting, statutory accounting and reporting),
• Support / coordinate HQ and Local/cluster Projects in accounting/reporting area.

• More than 7 years of experience with GL accounting in the retail industry.
• At least 3 years management experience leading GL team.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system and Microsoft Office tools (particularly MS Excel).
• Excellent communication skills fluently in English
• Work on multiple projects with different stakeholders and proactively manage deadlines.
• University Degree required: Finance, Economics or similar,
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA certification holder – good to have.
