❑ Coordinate the activities of the Mfg Engineers day to day ❑ Mentor Mfg Engineers on Nexteer practices and procedures ❑ Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of each engineer ❑ Manage the capital spending for projects in the plant ❑ Lead process problem solving / root cause analysis ❑ On Time Implementation of PDP assignments relative to ME dept. ❑ Coordinate and lead team to develop PFMEA to meet CPI timeline, and get approval. ❑ Maintain PFMEA according to requirements, such as process change, lesson learn and customer complains. ❑ Lead PFMEA annual review to maintain and update PFMEA. ❑ Lead process risk reduction activities through PFMEA analysis ❑ Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Skills and Abilities/Qualification: ❑ Could speak English to communicate clearly with others ❑ Good math and computer skills. ❑ Understand process methods of operation and maintenance. ❑ Understanding of basic mechanics, pneumatics, and electrically controlled machinery as used in an automated production environment. ❑ Ability to utilize critical thinking skills as applied to root-cause troubleshooting and analysis. ❑ Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and Numerically Controlled Machines is desired. Experience: ❑ Technical degree or Bachelor Engineering degree. ❑ 5-8 years manufacturing experience on mechanical/assembly/machining related, Automotive / Braking industry experiences is a plus ❑ Experienced at Automotive quality-related activities such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, and 8D.
