Tasks: -Create, review and update vehicle and platform network architecture in accordance with customer and market requirements as well as project milestones and regulatory requirements -Create, update and maintain upgrade, branch and migration concepts and specifications on platform, vehicle and component level with regard to global and local projects -Support and advise internal developing departments and external suppliers during concept, implementation and verification phase of wiring harness, network systems and components with regard to robustness, cost-effectiveness and performance -Create and maintain scalable next-generation network architecture concepts using state of the art technology -Regularly prepare and present project status in front of management and committees -Regularly align with brand and group counterparts regarding network architecture technology, and architecture concepts as well as verification and cost-reduction methods -Propose and develop technical innovations and optimizations for use in platforms, project or research projects

Qualification and skills required: -Engineering Bachelor/Master degree in network technology, computer engineering, information technology, electronic engineering or similar -2+ years of relevant work experience in a comparable position desired -Knowledge of automotive network technology required Knowledge of performance and robustness analysis in automotive networks required Capability to analyze and ensure backward compatibility in network architecture required Excellent inter-cultural communication and coordination skills Business language skills in English (written and oral) mandatory Familiar with German will be a plus
