Brief description of the position: This position holder is responsible for VCU software calibration for CEA project. The main tasks include: VCU software calibration within the defined time, quality and budget. Conduct calibration for defined working packages, represent calibration activities which are assigned from VCTC/Xpng. Key Tasks: Conduct defined calibration work packages for CEA project. Coordinate calibration work with external suppliers, Head-courter, J.Vs. Representing technical calibration as a reliable partner and defining comprehensive and feasible targets on behalf of VCTC. Represent the technical calibration in local committees. Responsible for technical release of working packages. Prepare/create milestone documentation for related calibration packages in the calibration process. Analyze customer or internal complaints, realize and implement solutions, assure release in customer software. Responsible for project-success/-output within the defined time, quality and budget. Perform powertrain calibration along the calibration process, validate calibration changes in all relevant environmental conditions (e.g. extreme hot or cold conditions, high altitude, high humidity.). Adapt calibration to market specific requirements (legal, environmental, cultural). Qualification and skills: Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, aviational engineering other related fields. No limit of working experience. Understanding of automotive processes and in particular in vehicle development. High motivation. Familiar with BEV systems. Basic knowledge of calibration. Familiarity with calibration tools (e.g. INCA, MDA, CANoe, CANape, DiagRA, etc.) is beneficial. Good driving skills, level-C or higher driving license is needed. Volkswagen proving ground driving license is preferred. Fluent in English (spoken and written). German is beneficial.
