Brief description of the position/ Range of responsibility:
This position is to monitor and ensure the implementation of specified requirements on function, system and component level. Involved in developing, evaluating and finally releasing the front/rear axle parts.
Key Tasks:
Development for front/rear axle parts according to VW process.
Independent component development / further development in coordination with the WOB department.
Benchmark the functions and the components.
Constructive new and further development as well as localization of components for new vehicle projects as well as model maintenance and change scopes from project takeover until EOP.
Support of the activities for the creation of project-related AWS or job split and SOC agreements.
Support and cooperation with other business areas on technical issues in the area of front/rear axle.
Continuous reduction of vehicle material costs and implementation of low-cost solutions.
Assessment of the technical competence of the development / service partner.
Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and compliance with legal requirements.
After-sales problem, test problem, production problem solving.
Leverage partner’s knowhow for future development.
Provide technical guidance in most urgent needed areas for partner.
Formulate the development planning for group and formulate the training plan for new colleague.
Qualification and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in Mechanic Engineering or other related fields.
More than 2 years working experience in mainstream automobile company working experience in multi-national company is preferred.
Know very well about the development for chassis axle parts and the ability of the suppliers for axle parts
Keen insight for cost control and Low-cost development
Evaluate the test reports, formulate the optimization and compile recommendations for approval of front axle parts
Have a strong sense of self-drive and responsibility, full of innovation consciousness, can give full play to the subjective initiative.
With good communication skills and team spirit.
Excellent comprehensive quality, good image, language expression and logic, flexible to deal with people.
Fluent English communication skills or German communication skills is preferred.
Full command of MS Office/XP/MS Outlook, strong skills in Excel &PowerPoint.
