Description and Requirements
[Job Title] Customer Quality Engineer
Reports To: Customer Quality Manager
Job Overview: Field Performance Chasing, Customer Complaint Solving
Responsibilities and Duties:
Good Relationship with customer, visit SQE/warranty SQE frequently, visit the dealers to avoid the sudden issue happened.
Negotiate the warranty percentage and punishment. First responsibility on customer claim and invoice/payment issued.
Handle the customer complaint, including 0km and warranty issues. Chasing the failure analysis progress, analyzing the warranty issue data to push the internal modification. Contribute the issues in LLs database.
Organize the internal team to complete the 8D report and report to customer for each customer complaint, 0km & warranty.
Responsible on customer SCORECARD. Check the customer compliant via customer portal every day, provide the quality data every week, including CPPM, RPPM, IPTV(3MIS.6MIS,12MIS), bunch issue. Analyze the data and push the corrective action internally.
Support the salable build in line on customer side and dealers_4S shops and service center. Load log to provide internally. Use CAN-tools and confirmed the failure follow product via ABA or other method.
Reflash the parts via CAN-tools or PC. Familiar with OBD working and log transfer. Lead containment actions in customer side, such as sorting or bunch reflash. Good relationship with outsource nearby customer plant or warehouse.
Receive the 0km/warranty return parts, from customer line or warehouse. Delivery the return parts to internal plant pending on the necessary, including NTF/CCNV/Trouble Find, etc.
Support the PPAP provide after mass-production. Follow up cut-in point management, checking with PQM and follow the logistic and warehouse, guarantee the change traceability and containment action effective.
Join in project team to guarantee the product diagnosis manual completed by system engineering. Guarantee the APT/after-marking diagnosis equipment has been designed and delivery to CQ team before SOP.
Follow the customer visit/audit in plant after PPAP.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in ME/EE/other Engineering majors ·
Fluent oral English, English could be used in daily work.
Over 5 years’ service experience for Quality/Design/Manufacture relative jobs in Automotive or Electrical industrial suppliers.
International company experience is preferred.
Experience in Problem Solving practices. Advanced analytical ability using problem solving tools, such as FTA, DMAIC, 8D, 5why, etc.
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and internal team. Familiar to IATF16949 standard and OEM customer quality system. Familiar with VW CSR is a plus.
Organizational and planning capabilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skill.
