Brief description of the position: This position assumes responsibility for cooling system function development & hardware development within VCTC as thermal management & cooling function requirement definition. This position assumes responsibility for cooling system hardware development within VCTC as thermal management & cooling system FOP (father of product). Key Tasks: - Responsible for powertrain cooling system function specification definition - Responsible for pump, cooling fan, senor control strategy under various working conditions - Responsible for thermal management& cooling system topology - Cooperate with software and calibration team on cooling function realization and optimization, ensure cooling system running with minimum energy consumption - Responsible for powertrain system cooling demand analysis and requirement distribution to each sub-system - Responsible for powertrain cooling circuit thermal management demand definition, includes temp. protection, different loop circulating demand definition, e-dive active heating judgement - Responsible for cooling system electronics (pump, valve, cooling fan etc.) control strategy, like duty ratio chart versus HV component temp. at various modes - Responsible for cooling system components integration, like layout, pump and valve position etc. - Responsible for integrated cooling module development - Responsible for cooling system benchmarking activities, VAVE activities - Cooperation with internal and external partners for the activities above

Qualification and skills: - Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechatronics, power and energy engineering, mechanical engineering or other related fields. - 5 years+ work experience in EV thermal management function & hardware development field - Familiar with thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluild dynamics etc. - Familiar with software like Simulink, Amesim etc. - Familiar with thermal management topology - Familiar with thermal management& cooling system calibration - Knowledge on thermal management system component development - Know thermal management system cutting-edge technology - Fluent English communication skills, German is a plus - Familiar with agile working methods and Jira-System is a plus
