Brief description of the position: Managing and organizing the technic zone technology (new technologies, environmental technologies, innovations and digital processes etc.) in his area of responsibility. Support and coordinate the workshop in his area of responsibility. Managing and control the operational budget and the annual business plan, in his area of responsibility. Managing and control the outsourcing projects under his responsibility. Support the productivity and continuous improvement activities. Solving the daily problems. Key Tasks: Production: Analyses production equipment looking for performance improvements. Preparation of weekend and Festivals work plans. Establish and coordinate activities with the maintenance teams to eliminate production problems due to equipment. Solving the daily problems. Budget and Costs: Supporting the Technic zone annual business plan and actively implementing. Controlling the annual budget and the various technological, environmental, innovation and digital projects. Ensures that his activities meet financial budget targets, safety standards, quality standards, environmental, and legal regulations. Implementing improvement and correction actions. Quality: Investigates and tests new technologies and components. Searches the market for new solutions that will turn into production and / or quality improvements. Establish a customer-supplier relationship. Communicates up- and downwards. Productivity and Continuous improvement: Supporting and implementing productivity and continuous improvement projects, according to the defined timing. Monitor and controlling the productivity data and implementing improvement actions. Equipment: Supporting objectives of the Technic zone, including environmental, legal requirements, safety, cost, quality, new technologies. Ensure that all targets are achieved and completed on time. Specifies and implements internal equipment projects and / or complex maintenance actions. Performs equipment technical acceptance according to the VW norms. Defines equipment standby components. Looks for the standardization of components, equipment and procedures within the area and plant. Investigates repetitive breakdowns and consistent under-performing equipment, and implements adequate solutions. Liaises with the equipment manufacturers and service providers to solve equipment problems & warranty claims. Makes area obsolete equipment disposals. Organizes and delivery the equipment documentation to the responsible departments. Develops fallback plans for equipment disruptions and implement it when needed. Projects: Developing and implementation of the short, medium-term Technic zone technology and automation strategic plan. Implement and coordinates, with the project management tool, the project from customer adjudication to delivery, reporting quality, timing, and costs in each milestone. Ensures forecasts and recovery plans, if deviation to targets are detected. Technically supports purchasing department in the negotiations of the service or project. Making contact with another shops and other departments, according to working procedures to ensure the smooth completion of the tasks. Responsible for the maintenance of the electrical and software standards. Outsourcing: Coordinate and implement the outsourcing project’s. Ensures forecasts and recovery plans, if deviation to targets are detected. Supporting objectives of the Technic zone on the outsourcing projects. Ensure that all targets are achieved and completed on time. Launch: Support planning activities for new processes, products, engineering changes, parts and equipment under his responsibility (ex. Specifications, FMEA, equipment acceptance,…). In the new project stage, participating in the trial production of pre-series cars on the production line, supervising and promoting the series production and other work. Qualification and skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electric and electronic or mechatronic are preferential) and at least 3 years of experience in the process area in the Automotive Industry, preferential in stamping. Must have good communication and project management skills, teamwork, leadership and soft skills. Good financial analysis and planning skills. Knowledge in Big DATA and data analysis. Good in statistical process and quality analysis and quality tools. English language needed.
