Responsible for overseeing and managing the tax operation of one Novartis entity. Assume direct responsibility for their local tax compliance & risk management. In charge of quarterly and annual corporate tax filing, annual audit regarding CIT, and assets loss audit and making sure no delays and properly filed. Based on taxation requirements, calculate and prepare tax filing of VAT, surcharge, SD, withholding tax, export refund, and other taxes as appropriated, apply for tax certificate for foreign payment. Prepare various reports and reply to enquiries raised by tax authorities. Conduct monthly/quarterly tax account closing. Submit quarterly corporate Novartis income tax reporting. Communicate with the tax bureau and be involved in all tax audits by the tax bureau. Act as a business partner and coordinate with local and global stakeholders ensuring tax outcomes are aligned to global tax strategy and compliant with local laws as well as international standards. Providing day-to-day tax advisory for business units and function departments, keeping them updated on the relevant tax laws and regulations, as well as identifying the tax impact. Manage applications for tax incentives of the entities (if available), ensuring fully enjoy preferential corporate income tax rate.

Minimum degree acceptable: University degree in Tax, Finance, or Economics Desirable qualification: CTA/CPA/other international certification is preferred. Languages: Mandarin and English （英语限基本沟通和邮件即可） Ideal experience: At least 5 years’ experience working in the tax division of an international accounting firm as well as in-house tax experience. Project management experience is a plus. · Excellent knowledge and solid experience in direct/indirect tax laws and tax audit management, tax knowledge on export business is a plus.
