Department Mission • Design and development of localized ADAS/AD function for Chinese customers • Harmonization of ADAS/AD concept and technical solution for multiple projects and platforms within the VW Group • ADAS/AD project governance and release Your Responsibilities • Ensure that the guidelines, regulations, and standards which related to ADAS/AD development scope are monitored and evaluated. Regularly report and communicate on updated standards and regulations incl. forecast for the oncoming and the draft version. • Interpret these guidelines, regulations, and standards and align with functions and components experts in the different development departments and entities in different locations (e.g. Wolfsburg, Beijing, Shanghai, etc.). • Maintain and create documentations and the traceability, from these guidelines, regulations, and standards to Function and System specifications, throughout the development process to ensure transparency, accountability and facilitate future audits or assessments. • Evaluate the impact and relevance of new function and system specifications and give BsM assessments. • Participate in activities which set up by China government and working groups for guidelines, regulations, and standards. Required Qualification: • Education: Bachelor degree or above in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, communication engineering • Work Experience: 3+ years of automotive engineering experience, 2+ years in ADAS/AD development field (or similar)), experience in regulations and standards in China is preferred. • Knowledge, skills and abilities: o Familiar with guidelines, regulations, and standards incl. vehicle rating protocol e.g. C-NCAP/C-IASI o Familiar with development procedure of OEM. o Experience in the functionalities of ADAS and relevance sensors; experience on parking, driving and guard function development and image perception are beneficial. o Highly structured, analytical, and self-organized. o Excellent capabilities in communication and team spirit. o Strong ability in problem solving, availability of multiple tasks. o Experience of studying/working abroad as a plus. • Language skills: o Excellent English language skills in written and spoken o Fluent Chinese language skills o German language skills as a plus
