ob Description We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst (Contractor) to join our Treasury organization based out of our APAC office. This role will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers, releasing orders from credit hold, partnering with sales team to acquire payments from customers and setting appropriate credit limits for customer exposures. This contractor position will provide crucial support to the treasury team during a period of growth and change. The role requires superior credit analysis skills, risk management experience, and the ability to assess complex financial situations, especially within a fast-paced industry. What you’ll be doing: • Analyze audited financial data to recommend credit limits, payment terms, and adjustments of credit decisions to senior management, following company policies and guidelines. • Collaborate with credit insurance providers or broker to secure appropriate coverage for customers and transactions, mitigating exposure to credit risk. • Coordinate Letters of Credit documentation to ensure compliance with credit policies and international trade regulations. • Communicate with the internal finance and sales teams, to ensure smooth credit processes. Approve and release credit limit for shipments based on the customer’s creditworthiness, projected accounts receivable balances to ensure timely and risk-managed delivery of goods. • Assist in resolving credit-related issues with customers, maintaining positive relationships. Monitor customer payment trends, aging reports, and overdue accounts to identify emerging credit risks and work to address them proactively. What we need to see: • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of fundamental financial analysis, accounting principles, and credit-related regulations. • Proven experience of 5 to 10+ years in credit analysis or credit management, preferably in high-tech industries. • Familiarity with large transactions and complex financial structures. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle several tasks. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software. Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools. • Ability to work independently and prioritize your workload effectively. Proactive, adaptable, and willing to contribute to a fast-paced team environment. Ways to stand out from the crowd: • Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CBA) are a plus. • Proficiency in credit risk management tools and financial systems (SAP).
