SME – Engineering SHE Lead Scope of Responsibilities To align with overall Project Scope 1. Engage with key AZ stakeholders to ensure project SHE objectives/goals/KPIs are clearly defined and agreed. 2. Engage with internal AZ stakeholders and the project team to provide a single AZ point of contact for engineering SHE, ensuring targets and requirements are clearly understood and delivered. 3. Engage with the project team to verify the have received the correct SHE training (onboarding plan) to ensure SHE studies meet AZ’s standards and expectations. 4. Engage with local SHE and client to ensure site experience and requirements are integrated in the design. 5. Engage with Design Manager to assess SHE impact of changes. 6. Engage with the Construction SHE Lead about safe to start and pre start-up safety review topics. 7. Support the Project Technical Manager in the selection of suitable SHE study-contractors. 8. Share deliverable with the relevant client and project team members for comment and approval to ensure the SHE studies are completed to a good level of quality and that their outcome is integrated in the design. 9. Take part in relevant project developments and design reviews to assess and advise on potential SHE impact. 10.Update SHE reviews following close out of actions. 11.Track the progress made against the engineering SHE delivery plan / schedule. 12.Update the SHE delivery plan / schedule as needed to reflect delivery and findings from of project and SHE activities. 13.Provide input in the Tier reporting and gate reviews. 14.Provide input in the mechanical completion, Pre Start-up Safety Review, Handovers. 15.Ensure the HSE knowledge is transferred to the user. 16.Escalates issues to the PTM and if necessary to the Project Manager.
