Key Responsibilities: 1.Migration Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive migration strategies for IBM, Oracle, and Microsoft products (including Infrastructure, databases, CRM, ERP, and cloud services) to suitable China-based alternatives that meet business and compliance requirements. 2.Evaluation of China-Based Solutions: Conduct in-depth research and evaluations of alternative technologies from mainland China, such as Huawei, CEC, CETC solutions, assessing their compatibility, scalability, and integration feasibility. 3.Project Management: Lead end-to-end migration projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met. Coordinate with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and business functions to mitigate risks and ensure seamless transition. 4.Technical Execution: Oversee or directly execute data and application migrations, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal downtime. Work closely with IT teams to customize configurations as needed for optimized performance. 5.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all migration activities comply with relevant data protection, cybersecurity, and industry regulations, especially those specific to operating within mainland China. 6.Change Management and Training: Develop change management plans, including training and support for end-users and IT staff on new systems and processes, ensuring a smooth post-migration experience. 7.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for future migration projects, documenting lessons learned and improving migration frameworks.

Requirements: 1.Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2.Experience: Minimum of 15 years in IT infrastructure or application migration, with specific experience migrating from IBM, Oracle, or Microsoft technologies. Familiarity with Chinese enterprise solutions is highly preferred. Technical Proficiency: 1.Expertise in traditional technology stack and cloud services (e.g., IBM, Oracle, Microsoft etc…). 2.Experience with Chinese technology solutions such as Huawei, CEC, CETC related solutions is a plus. 3.Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects with an ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment. 4.Knowledge of Regulations: Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data residency, and compliance standards relevant to the Chinese market. 5.Communication Skills: Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: 1.Certifications in cloud platforms or project management, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, or a similar credential relevant to the technologies involved. 2.Familiarity with the evolving technology ecosystem in China, including major vendors and compliance requirements.
