• Managing multiple design qualification activities and development schedules to improve the quality of the product. Candidate will work closely with manufacturing partners and component vendors to perform failure analysis and drive corrective actions for Reliability failures. • Work with US Reliability teams to develop and document reliability qualification plans for new products • Develop Suppliers to set up ongoing reliability tests to monitor mass production. • Evaluate and Drive effectiveness of the reliability stresses or resolve reliability issues related to products. • Participate in component vendor selection activity and drive component qualification activity for components that are critical and strategic to Microsoft product requirements. • Provide reliability guidance to Contract manufacturers and suppliers for the release to manufacture phase and lab qualifications. • Understanding of the technology, materials, and failure mechanisms associated with major electronic and electro-mechanical components/materials. • Use knowledge of process capability for electronic component production as well as system-level performance requirements to establish Critical-to-Quality performance metrics.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mechanical engineering /material, physics, chemical engineering, optics, semiconductor packaging, memory NAND, CMF • Total work experience 5-10 years (inclusive of 3 years in the reliability field or hardware testing). • Solid experience in hardware test verification • Solid experience from the Fabrics industry, battery, LCD, automotive industry, wearables, speaker, audio, and household appliances • Good English written and verbal • Good FA skills are an advantage. • Power BI or Data analytical skills are an advantage • Strong statistical analysis skills, familiar with tools as Minitab or Weibull • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with people from a variety of technical backgrounds, with high adaptability • 10% travelling
