The R&D Associate in the R&D Materials function play a key role in carrying out assigned tasks related to raw material qualification within individual projects across the Asia Pacific Region (APAC). This involves collaborating with project leaders and providing support for Change management, New product Development projects initiatives. The R&D Associate role includes below responsibilities: 1. Timely execution & support for new material/supplier qualifications in innovation projects, Change management, Business Continuous Projects/Cost Improvement Projects etc.2. Preparation or revision of ana-lytical testing method files for innovation projects and existing products for China market.3. To perform assessment of raw material changes on various formulations under skin care, hair care, baby care, oral care, self-care category.4. Carry out required experimentation in laboratories to evaluate the materials equivalency/ technical assessment5.Documentation of change control and related activities in various systems as per defined processes in compliant way.6. Preparation of technical justifications/reports/summary based on sound scientific experimentation and rationale.7. Support internal/external manufacturing sites for Raw material related trouble shootings & investigations. 8. Closely work with cross functional teams like R&D formulators, Procurement, Quality and Rapid Response team to ensure timely implementation of raw material changes in internal and external manufacturing sites.9. Regular monitoring of the project status and report the progress to the manager & key stakeholder. Describe required/desired Education requirement 1. Bachelors/Master’s in Pharmaceutical ana-lysis or Ana-lytical chemistry, or related scientific field, new graduate or with 1-3 years of experience. Overseas study experience would be a plus. 2. Working experiences in ana-lytical chemistry laboratory would be a plus. 3. Good English skill and computer skills (Excel, Word, etc) with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. 4. Good communication and collaboration skills.
