Job Purpose • We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Logistics Specialist to join our customer service team. In this role, you will be responsible for the export logistics and customs of DMS Ningbo, ensure the efficient, compliant and punctual delivery of export goods to customers, optimize the export logistics process, reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Export of general goods, free samples, testing parts and machines o Booking and arranging pick up. o Preparing the shipping documents. o Following up in-transit shipments. o Ensuring the customs clearance smoothly. o Confirming the export plan with planners and sales. o Remind planners and arrange the export schedule before holiday or severe weather. o Support sales to provide export tax refund. o Tracking data of export goods for monthly report. o Defining HS code for new parts. o Managing and evaluating logistics suppliers. • Provide the export quotation and logistics solutions o Support sales and project team to provide the quotation. o Customs and logistics solutions design for special cases, like returns or repairs. • Monitor oversea 3rd party warehouse o Daily monitoring (stock in and stock out). o Quarterly inventory reporting. o Low inventory alerting. • Apply for certificate of origin o Differentiate customers which are covered in FTA. o Apply for CO in time from CIQ. o Original CO to customer timely. • Financial documents o Provide freight monthly cost forecast. o Monthly bills checking and submitting to financial department in time for forwarder, broker and oversea 3rd party warehouse. • Support o Provide optimal transportation, oversea 3rd party warehouse, customs solution, gain cost and service advantage comparing with the market level by managing effectively and efficiently the whole logistics cost and service management process. What we are looking for • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in logistics, international trade, supply chain management, or related fields; • 1–3 years of experience in import/export logistics; candidates with automotive industry experience are preferred; • Familiar with import/export procedures, customs clearance processes, and international freight knowledge; • Proficient in using Office software; • Strong English reading and writing skills, capable of independently handling English emails and shipping documents; • Detail-oriented, responsible, with good communication, coordination, and stress management skills; • Familiarity with INCOTERMS and customs requirements of major destination countries is preferred.
