Brief description:
EKKE Function Development Roof engineer is responsible for the function realization in connected ECUs of domain body electronic as well as in other domains. And is also responsible to ensure the use of function realization in body electronic parts for vehicle projects according to the company strategy and project targets.
Key tasks:
1.Plan, steer and execute function realizations in body electronic parts in hard- and software according to vehicle project milestones.
2.regularly prepare and present project status in front of management and committees.
3.Develop, align and execute solutions and measures to ensure meeting project milestones in complex environment.
4.Prepare and present technical and commercial alternatives in committees with the goal of pressing a decision.
5.Continuously evaluate and optimize project performance using appropriate key performance indicators.
6.Regularly align with brand and group counterparts regarding functions and ECUs.
7.Propose and develop technical innovations and optimizations for use in project or research projects.
8.Proactively initiate training demands for this position as well as support & mentoring for unexperienced team members.
Qualification and skills:
1.Master/Bachelor in mechanical Engineering, automotive systems, electrical or automotive engineering or similar.
2.Minimum 3 years of working experience in automotive systems and distributed functions therein or within related areas.(no requirement for the requirement of fresh graduates)
3.High inter-cultural competence, international experience, good relationship and connection within in the VW Group is a plus.
4.Tools like Catia, CAD Tools, Vector CANoe etc. VW system is a plus(AVON, KVS, Connect, etc.). Function Development and Realization experience, good knowledge of Body domain functions, good CAN/LIN Bus knowledge.
