Tasks: -Create, review and update vehicle and platform function architecture in accordance with customer and market requirements as well as project milestones and regulatory requirements -Create, update and maintain function decomposition and allocation for platform and vehicle as well as general rules and guidelines for such -Support and advise internal developing departments and external suppliers during concept, implementation and verification phase of system and function design with regard to compatibility, cost-effectiveness and performance -Apply, evaluate and refine function architecture concepts and specifications on platform, vehicle and component level with regard to global and local projects -Regularly prepare and present project status in front of management and committees -Regularly align with brand and group counterparts regarding functional architecture methodologies, documentation and legal requirements as well as verification and cost-reduction methods -Propose and develop technical innovations and optimizations for use in project or research projects Qualification and skills -Engeering Bachelor/Master degree in Internet security, information technology, electronic engineering or similar -2 + years of relevant work experience in a comparable position desiredQualification and skills -Knowledge of functional architecture design methods and tools required Knowledge in documentation and visualization of functional architecture required Knowledge of performance and compatibility analysis in functional architecture required Capability to analyze and ensure backward compatibility in functional architecture required Excellent inter-cultural communication and coordination skills Business language skills in English (written and oral) mandatory Familiar with German will be a plus
